The line between life and not-life

The World Championship Jamboree is over and the grand prize winner has been found, which means that the iGEM off-season begins today. We will still continue to blog about iGEM in the off-season, but also mix in a little more non-iGEM content.

Today I want to show you this interesting TED talk by Martin Hanczyc about “Proto Cells” and how life might have first occured on earth:

Dr. Hanczyc is no stranger to the iGEM community either, he has been an advisor for the iGEM team from SDU-Denmark in both 2009 and 2010.

I hope you enjoyed this talk as much as I did!
